Terms of Service

Hunt with
good instincts.

Last updated April 20, 2026

These terms cover Radius drops, link sharing, hunts, precise location, media, Hard Mode, Featured Drops, and the safety rules that keep the experience human.

Using Radius

Radius lets people create private digital drops at physical locations and share them by link. A hunter unlocks a drop by physically getting close enough to the target location.

You need a compatible device, network access, and the required permissions for features such as location, camera, and notifications. Some parts of Radius may be unavailable during early access, testing, maintenance, or launch-city rollouts.

Accounts and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Radius. If a higher age is required where you live, you must meet that age.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through your account. Use accurate information and do not impersonate another person.

Your Drops and Content

You keep ownership of the photos, videos, notes, riddles, and other content you add to Radius.

You give Radius permission to host, store, process, display, transmit, and delete your content as needed to operate drops, hunts, share links, Vault history, Hard Mode verification, expiry, safety, and support.

Only create drops with content you have the right to share. Do not upload illegal, harmful, invasive, hateful, exploitative, or non-consensual content.

Location, Safety, and No Trespassing

Radius is a physical-world experience. You are responsible for your surroundings, your travel decisions, and your compliance with laws, signs, property rules, and safety instructions.

Do not create or hunt drops in unsafe, restricted, private, dangerous, or illegal locations. Do not trespass, enter closed areas, interfere with emergency services, drive while distracted, or pressure another person to take risks.

GPS, compass, and proximity signals can be inaccurate. Radius does not guarantee that coordinates, distance, direction, or unlock timing will be perfectly precise.

Links, Modes, and Visibility

A Radius link is an invitation to hunt. People who receive a valid link may be able to open the drop preview, start a hunt, and see limited metadata such as city, mode, difficulty, prize status, or active state.

Couple mode is meant for one recipient, Group mode is meant for private groups, and Anyone mode is meant for broader sharing. You are responsible for choosing the right mode and for where you share the link.

Radius has no public feed or follower count, but link sharing can still travel beyond the original audience.

Unlocks, Hard Mode, and Expiry

Easy Mode unlocks are based on verified proximity to the target location. Hard Mode may also require a riddle clue and an unlock photo that is compared with the reference photo.

AI or automated checks may be wrong. Radius may reject, delay, or reverse unlocks that appear fraudulent, unsafe, abusive, or technically invalid.

Drops may expire after the selected expiry period. Expired drops may stop working, and associated media may be deleted or made unavailable, subject to product, security, legal, and backup needs.

Featured Drops and Prizes

Radius may offer official Radius Team drops, Featured Drops, prizes, codes, or launch-city experiences. Availability can change by city, time, eligibility, and inventory.

Unless separate prize rules say otherwise, prizes have no cash value, are not guaranteed, and may be changed, substituted, or canceled where necessary.

Acceptable Use

Do not misuse Radius, interfere with the service, scrape data, reverse engineer restricted systems, bypass location or unlock checks, automate hunts, abuse referral or prize systems, or attempt unauthorized access.

Do not use Radius to stalk, harass, threaten, surveil, expose, or manipulate another person. Do not place drops that reveal sensitive personal information without consent.

Privacy

The Radius Privacy Policy explains how Radius handles account data, precise location, media, hunt records, notifications, and service providers. By using Radius, you also agree to that policy.

Third-Party Services

Radius may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, database, storage, analytics, push notifications, app stores, and AI verification. Those services may have their own terms and policies.

Radius is not responsible for third-party websites, app stores, messaging apps, operating systems, or services that you use to open or share Radius links.

Disclaimers and Liability

Radius is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, perfect location accuracy, error-free unlocks, permanent storage, or that every drop will be safe or appropriate.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Radius and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, personal injury, property damage, or unsafe conduct by users.

Suspension and Changes

We may suspend or terminate access, remove drops, disable links, withhold prizes, or take other action if we believe there is misuse, risk, legal exposure, technical abuse, or a violation of these terms.

We may update these Terms as Radius evolves. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the app, website, or another reasonable method.
